message to pastors
Dear Pastor,
I know you! I know what you do is challenging and rewarding. I know the diligence, the effort, the sacrifice, the pain and the joy of the position you have chosen and been chosen for. A position that carries with it, among other things, the balance of souls. A high calling of utmost importance. You are the front line. You are paramount to the kingdom. You love and are loved. (I realize this is starting to read like one of the seven letters to the seven churches)...But I have this against you! (OK now its really getting creepy)
Seriously though, I wish now to share my heart, not my opinion or what I think, but that which God has put upon my heart. Upon reading this some will anger, some will scoff, some will quit reading before the end, but if only one heart is touched and only one change is made, then all is worth it.
If you have read any of this website you hopefully have picked up on the incredible importance I feel towards the verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book method of Bible teaching and preaching. A method of teaching that is becoming extinct and the consequences are eternal. There is an overextending result among the body of Christ whom you have charge over that permeates the entire Church world wide.
That result is, quite frankly, the production of an ill-equipped, unprepared and weaponless army for God.
